This opportunity emerged when a UK-based supplier of VELUX® components sought a more reliable and transparent manufacturing partner after facing challenges with their previous provider, including communication issues, unexpected costs, and inconsistent quality. They turned to GAP Plastics for support.
Following a series of site visits and tooling trials, the supplier was impressed by the seamless integration of their tooling with our machinery and the professionalism of our team. In particular, our Engineering Manager, Steven Fitzpatrick, received high praise for his hands-on support and commitment to achieving the best product finish possible.
After successful initial trial tests, the client agreed to move their production to GAP Plastics. We successfully fulfilled their first order, and since then, have received three more, now working on our fourth order.
